About Chef Gregory

Gregory's formation began in France — the classical French kitchen, with its discipline, its hierarchy, and its uncompromising standards. He learned that excellence is not a style. It is a disposition. It is the decision to do one more thing correctly when no one is watching.

He brought that disposition to Dubai and to the Nara Hospitality Group, where he has built the culinary culture across Lady Nara, Sonara and Nara In The City. Whether cooking on a dhow at sunset or beneath a canvas in the desert, the philosophy is identical: the best ingredients, treated with respect, served with warmth.

When Gregory cooks in a home, something shifts. "You are not a chef performing for an audience. You are a craftsman making something that belongs entirely to them. That intimacy — that responsibility — is what I find most meaningful about private dining."
